New Year, New Beginnings for Pulsation Yoga

Happy New Year! We are so excited to kick off this New Year with some new beginnings at Pulsation Yoga.

As Kathy and Jim recently announced, they will be moving out of state in the coming months, so as of January 1, 2019, they passed the business on to us – Alison, Sandy and Susan. We have all been active with the studio for many years as students, trainees and instructors. We are honored to carry on the traditions and lessons that have served you and our entire yoga community.

Sandy Smith has been working and teaching classes at Pulsation Yoga for over 4 years. As a graduate of Pulsation Yoga’s 200 and 500 hour yoga teacher training programs, her knowledge and experience runs deep. Sandy primarily teaches Basics and 101 classes for our studio, assisting those new to yoga to build a regular yoga practice by focusing on the foundations of poses and alignment. She is also a Wellness and Weight Loss Coach, bringing the benefits of yoga to her clients to develop strength, breath/body connection, and appreciation of their bodies regardless of where they are on their journey.

Alison Tseng has been a student and teacher at Pulsation Yoga, and she received her 500 hour teacher training through Pulsation Yoga. In addition to her Anusara studies through the studio, she also regularly practices Ashtanga yoga. As a teacher, Alison strives to help students feel and see the benefits that yoga offers their mind, their self-confidence, and their lives, even when they step off the mat. And with previous experience as a librarian, she brings her passion of learning and community to the studio every day.

Susan Burns has been practicing yoga for over a decade. She was a student at Pulsation Yoga for five years before receiving her 200 hour yoga teacher training through the studio. She recently began teaching, focusing on a balanced practice to build strength, stamina and peace, and is grateful to continue learning from all the experienced instructors at Pulsation Yoga. She brings 15 years of business and marketing experience to the studio and hopes to use it to connect with our yoga community.

We are truly thankful to Kathy and Jim, to all of our instructors, and to all of you for making this such a warm and welcoming yoga home and building such a strong community.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions during this transition, or any time, we are always happy to hear from you.

Namaste
