When will Arlington Heights and Lake Zurich close?2025-09-02T16:16:42-05:00

Arlington Heights will officially close when the new Mount Prospect Studio open on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Lake Zurich will remain open until Monday, November 17, 2025.

What happens to my existing package at the other studios?2025-09-02T16:37:22-05:00

All existing 5- and 10-packs purchased in Arlington Heights and in Lake Zurich have a 6-month expiration date and can be used at any open Pulsation Yoga studio, including Mount Prospect. We are also working with Mindful Movement Yoga in Lake Zurich to help with the transition, and they will accept any 5- and 10-packs from us starting on November 17, 2025. For our 4x/month membership, your membership and price is locked in and can move directly to Mount Prospect, look for communications from us in September with details. For our Unlimited Members, we are offering a new LOWER priced membership for the transition, also communicated directly to you in September.

What classes will be offered?2025-09-02T16:38:10-05:00

Our schedule is online now and you can view and book classes in Mount Prospect for October 18 and beyond. We are offering all your favorite classes from Yin and Fundamentals to All Level, Intermediate and Advanced. Plus we may have some fun new class offerings and MORE classes on the schedule to accommodate all your needs.

Why are you closing Arlington Heights and Lake Zurich?2025-07-09T10:23:03-05:00

When one door closes, another one opens. Our leases were expiring this year, and some of the decisions were out of our control. But we are committed to serving this amazing community of yogis the best way possible, so we found a new space that can be built out to our specifications and needs to serve you best. We aren’t changing who we are or what we do – only the space that we practice in.

How big is the new studio?2025-07-09T10:23:03-05:00

The new Mount Prospect yoga studio is right-sized for our community. The practice space is smaller than Lake Zurich but bigger than Arlington Heights, it should accommodate around 20-25 mats. And it’s laid out in a way to help reduce congestion between classes, have easier access to props you need in class, a separate area for shoes and coats, and a separate area for washrooms.

I am registered for the Turks & Caicos retreat, what happens now?2025-07-09T10:23:03-05:00

Nothing changes – we are still going to Turks and Caicos in January of 2026! Pulsation Yoga is staying the same; we are simply moving spaces. The retreat is fully booked now, but if you are interested in joining us, you can get on the waitlist by clicking here.

Susan had been practicing yoga for over a decade before receiving her 200 hour yoga teacher training through Pulsation Yoga. Susan’s practice originally started as a supplement to her distance running, but over the years she realized she got much more from yoga than simply stretching and strengthening, and it has become her central focus. She emphasizes a balanced practice to build strength, stamina and peace through a flowing style suited to her students’ needs, while pushing them to their highest potential.
