Pulsation Yoga welcomes back Dr. Nicole Ranttila for an informative and inspirational workshop: Yoga for Emotional Well-Being. This workshop is focused on developing lifestyle practices to promote personal well-being and emotional health. Several strategies including meditation, positive self-talk and healthy mindset will be explored as we discuss ways to reduce stress. The discussion will then be followed by a yoga practice designed to promote stress reduction and address emotions. We will have time set aside for Q&A after practice.

This is a live-streaming event with Dr. Nicole Ranttila, hosted by Pulsation Yoga. All registrants will receive the class link prior to start time; you must have a valid email on file.

About Dr. Nicole Ranttila, Psy.D., 200 E-RYT, 500 RYT, YACEP:

Dr. Ranttila is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and certified yoga instructor. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of depression and anxiety across the lifespan. She focuses on personal well-being and holistic health. Dr. Ranttila has taught graduate courses, conducted research and presents on intention setting, mindfulness, autism, play-based interventions and social skill building. She specializes in mindfulness and meditation in both her clinical practice and yoga practice.

Dr. Ranttila completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Studio Oxygen in Canfield, Ohio. She then earned her 500 hour certification at Guruv Yoga in Lake Mary, Florida under Tymi Howard and Steve Ross. She is certified in children’s yoga and has completed extensive yin yoga training under Tymi Howard, Steve Ross and Richard Gartner. In addition, she has trained under Heidi Fricke, a senior Baptiste faculty member. As a life-long fitness enthusiast, she has also been a certified Spinning instructor and trainer since 1996, and sits on the board of the Youngstown Marathon Charitable Foundation, which promotes running and wellness events.
