Many Reasons To Choose Pulsation Yoga Teacher Training School:

The highest quality training you can get because of the detail and unique

curriculum, with “hands-on” learning. You will feel very cared for in this training.

Majority of the sessions taught by lead teacher Kathy (Over 9 years of teacher

training experience), with guest teachers Marc Holzman, Ross Rayburn, Gabriel Halpern, Kathleen Rankhorn, studio co-owner Jim Simonik, and others.

Detailed curriculum and outline with handouts: extremely organized.

Option to attend an additional 300 hours and receive a full 500 hour study with the same school. Option to continue on to become a 500 RYT Anusara™ Certified Instructor.

Learn how to craft your OWN sequences creatively, as opposed to relying on a handful of limiting sequences. Teachers want the long term student. Keep your students coming back because they are really learning as opposed to going on auto pilot. Creating your own sequences will also demand the best from you by continually raising your awareness potentially turning you into a master teacher. Learning never stops. This is not an easy program, if you want the best start with the best, become the best.

Our practicum includes the opportunity for you to assist in a class and observe seasoned professionals teach. As a student at Pulsation Yoga’s Teacher Training, you will learn the following:

  • Anusara yoga, an overview of various applications including Vinyasa,  Restorative, and Therapeutic-Oriented Yoga, Meditation, Prenatal.

  • Philosophy overview, including Yamas and Niyamas, the Bhagavad Gita, the Chakras, and the Koshas, Doshas, and Malas. Studying non-dualistic philosophy can help you build healthy habits that garner positive changes, both mentally and physically.

  • Asana practice with a focus on form, alignment, breath, and energy. We break down poses so you can better understand how each one benefits the body, and learn the best way to get into a pose, including using modifications and variations. We also cover energy and energetic flow in the body, therapeutic-essentials, standing, backbends, sitting poses, twists, hand balances, inversions, and restoratives.

  • Pranayama, Bandhas, Nadis, and Meditation.
  • General anatomy of the skeleton, muscles, joints, ligaments, cartilage, and tendons. We review biomechanics of poses and how they affect the physiology of the muscle.

  • How to make hands-on adjustments to safely take the student deeper into the asana practice.
